The Imperial Castle of Pont de Briques

Camp de Boulogne Headquarters

the  Château de Pont-de-Briques, located in the town of  Saint-Leonard  in the  Pas-de-Calais,  was the headquarters of  Napoleon I  during the  Boulogne camp  of  1803  To  1805 .

In this place, Napoleon organized the landing project on the British coasts, but also administered France, taking a very  large number of decisions on all civil matters  as a soldier.  Below, the plan of the castle, with the use of rooms from the Imperial period.

The Emperor's apartments are regularly  open on the occasion of heritage days.

Plan drawn up by the chief architect of historical monuments Ch. Waldschmidt in 1969
