47éme VOYAGE DU CENTRE D’ETUDES NAPOLENIENNES

The Study Center is organizing a cycle of 5 webinar conferences by the end of 2021.
Did Napoleon have a toothache?
And if he too had suffered from his teeth, what exactly would it have been dentally, of him of course, but also of his dynasty?
Napoleon held the whole of Europe in his one hand, but no matter how great he was, he was nonetheless a man with his strengths, his weaknesses, his faults.
Xavier RIAUD, Doctor in dental surgery, Doctor in Epistemology, History of Science and Technology will answer these questions and provide a picture of dental care in the historical context of the 1st Empire during his webinar conference
" The Napoleon dynasty, their teeth, their dentists ",
organized by the Center for Napoleon Studies

Reading
" The honor regained of General Partouneaux after the Bérézina ", by Fabrice Delaitre. Historic'One. 25 €
Can be ordered by post for the attention of the author at 4, rue des Rozais 51500 RILLY-LA-MONTAGNE: € 25 + € 6 postage.
A detailed and precise study on the circumstances of the surrender of General Partouneaux at the Battle of Bérézina, in November 1812, which is based on an important work of archival collection, several of which had never been published. An excellent work, where the historical rigor does not exclude, on the contrary, the pleasure of a fascinating reading.
